From September 18 to 21, 2025, SURGAR participated in the ESGE (European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy) Congress in Istanbul, Turkey, a key event for innovations in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Our CEO, Nicolas Bourdel, represented SURGAR with a conference on the future of surgical technology.

Keynote Address: Augmented Reality and AI in Gynecological Surgery

Nicolas Bourdel’s presentation, titled “Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence for Gynaecological Surgery,” explored how these technologies are reshaping surgical practice. Key points included:

• Enhancing Precision: How Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) provide real-time guidance to improve surgical accuracy.
• Improving Outcomes: The role of AI in optimizing procedures and reducing complications.
• Supporting Training: How AR and AI create new opportunities for surgical education and skill development.

This session highlighted SURGAR’s work in integrating technology to advance minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
